Ingredients :

Minced fresh cilantro (optional)
453 g chicken drumsticks
½ tsp garlic powder
2 tsp curry powder
¾ tsp salt, divided
½ tsp onion salt
2 tbsp olive oil

Directions :

1. Put chicken in a large bowl and add plenty of water to cover.
2. Pour in ½ tsp of salt. Allow sitting for 15 minutes at lukewarm. Drain off the water and pat dry.
3. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
4. Combine garlic powder, remaining ¼ tsp of salt, onion salt, curry powder, and oil in another bowl.
5. Place in the chicken and toss to coat. Working in batches, arrange the chicken on the tray in the basket in a single layer.
6. Cook for about 15 to 17 minutes, flipping when halfway through cooking until the internal temperature reaches 78 °C. drizzle with cilantro if desired.
